DIANE ROSENBLUTH
Diane (aka Granny) started crafting candy sushi for her 4 granddaughters in the early 2000's. Years later she made platters for their Bat Mitzvahs. When her 3rd granddaughter suggested to start a business in 2021, she couldn't resist the offer to spend time with everyone and use the crafting skills she developed as a NYC public school teacher. Her mom, June suffered from Multiple Sclerosis and could not do these crafts with her, so it is a blessing and an honor to craft with her family while donating proceeds to the National MS Society in June's name. When not making candi sushi, Granny enjoys planning events at her development, scrabble with Gramps and keeping tabs on all five of her grandchildren.

After a handful of years following the sale of Kim and husband Jeff's food distribution company, Gourmet Guru, Kim found herself back in a family business. This time with her mother and two of her four daughters. Kim was excited to use her A&C counselor skills that she didn't think she still had and at the same time teach her daughters valuable lessons of building a business. When not crafting candi sushi, Kim enjoys cooking, walking, reading, yoga and time with all 4 of her daughters.

Violet is the third of four daughters in Gen 3. Violet's entrepreneurial spark ignited on her 15th birthday and she suggested that we sell Granny's candy sushi that we forgot to serve at her party! She soon launched our instagram @candi_3gen and her friends became our first customers. Violet's connection with children through her numerous jobs helped us be a part of many local birthday parties and events. When not crafting candi sushi, Violet enjoys working with children and dining on real sushi!

Dahlia is the fourth of four daughters in gen 3. Dahlia jumped onto the team at age 10, creating our logo and working at our very first retail shop for Small Business Saturday at our launch at Bluetique. She has worked at many of our vendor markets and recruits friends to work with her at charitable events. When not crafting candi sushi, Dahlia enjoys soccer, time with her friends and sisters, and counting the days down til her summer camp starts at BHEC.
